Teaching my RoboHelp and Captivate Classes with the new Adobe Connect 8

November 22, 2010

The new Adobe Connect 8 has been released and provides a more comfortable way for me to teach my virtual training and consulting sessions for Adobe RoboHelp and Adobe Captivate. The screen sharing is extremely responsive and there is very little delay between my on screen actions and what the student sees. I always use two computers and two internet connections to get an accurate view of what my students are seeing. The VoIP and integrated phone conferencing options make it easy to record sessions for playback by the student. They can view the session again at their leisure.

Another convenience of a virtual classroom is that I can offer consulting sessions that are much more affordable because I don’t have to pass along the travel expenses.

I see where Adobe is offering a 30-day trial for Adobe Connect 8 at this address.
