Windows 7 and Adobe RoboHelp install is successful

November 28, 2009

This was a good day for me and Adobe RoboHelp (and TCS 2)!
I successfully installed (in one day!):

  1. Windows 7 Professional on a desktop machine
  2. IIS
  3. SQL Server Express 2008
  4. Apache Tomcat
  5. Adobe Technical Communication Suite 2
  6. Adobe CS 4 Master Collection
  7. RoboHelp Server 8
  8. RoboSource Control

All installed and “play nicely” together! I was especially happy to see RoboHelp Server 8 working well with a merged help project and even RoboSource Control installed without a hitch using SQL Server Express 2008.
